With 2 recently broken arms , and a visit from the ambulance officer, there has been lots of talk about doctors and so on – time to open the kinder hospital.

and all of us wanted to play there.

This is an effective play space for lots of reasons – children can cooperate or play individually and still be part of the group, and other children who are less involved can offer “ancillary services” like catering for meals. There’s language and vocabulary, social connections, general knowledge, role play, family connections, and we haven’t even started to look at the science that may be involved or stimulated.
